Description

A bottle from '63 with an amazingly high level, into the neck. The vintage is clearly stamped on the capsule and the observant will note the absence of a label - quite habitual in ports of this era.

Has great elegance and harmony, and should continue to improve for many years. Medium ruby-red, with very fresh plum aromas, medium-bodied, with very delicate fresh fruit flavours, lively acidity and a delicate finish".

Sweet raisin, raspberry and toffee; loaded and smooth; long sweet finish.

9/12/2018 - 87TELLUB LIKES THIS WINE:96 Points
Fig, nutty. Slightly burnt crème brûlée. Leather. Nice, lively palate. The finish is really, really nice. Decanted about 4 hours before consuming. Superb.
