Description

From the underground cellar of an old friend in Barnes.

A recent tasting note on Cellartracker :

Tasted by Icarus on 11/5/2011 & rated 94 points: I only had a quick taste of this too and then gave my pour away (as I was still preoccupied with the Cheval Blanc). Very light rusty-red color. Ethereal nose. Desiree thought it smelled like cognac; I thought it had more red fruit aromas. Either way it was stunning. Equally good on the palate. Surprisingly light, but still highly impactful. Great long finish. One of the better ports I can ever remember tasting.

The label bears the following inscription : "British Transport Hotels Ltd NW1"

Capsule as per photo - impec.
Level: 'bottom of shoulder'

The stain(s) on the label are NOT from this bottle but from another above it in the rack. This bottle is not leaking.
