Wine Spectator gave a rating of 91 out of 100. This is a rare find, and a fantastic gift for someone who has everything - and of course those born in 1981!

This bottle has been kept in a temperature controlled environment since purchase in 1989. We tried the same vintage a month ago, our last next to this bottle, which we are selling so we can fill Christmas stockings! It was really lovely - still well and truly alive, although not as bubbly as it used to be. It now has a beautiful chocolate flavour - This Champagne is absolutely stunning with age.......we highly recommend it! A "once in a lifetime" opportunity as this vintage is extremely rare to find now.
