Description

Noel Pinguet, the son-in-law of Gaston Huet, who died in 2002(aged 92)had been running this estate since 1976,but recently resigned in February 2012,after differences with the Chinese American owning family. The Hwangs bought the estate in 2003 from the Huets.

"He (Noel Pinguet) began shifting the estate to biodynamic farming in 1987,and converted all of its vineyards to the system by 1990".
"The great vintages from Huet...1947,1959,1989,1990 and certainly 1997 and 2002...were all wines that will keep 50 years or more.A 1947 Moelleux drunk on New Year's Eve 2003 was quite extraordinary".

Above extracts taken from Robert Parker's "The World's Greatest Wine Estates".
