Description

"(12.9% alcohol): Healthy youthful red. Knockout nose melds cherry, mulberry, coffee, leather and eucalyptus, plus a balsamic suggestion of nutty oak. Glossy, seamless and wonderfully elegant in the mouth, with perfectly integrated acidity infusing this wine with outstanding verve. At once juicy and horizontal, finishing with fine-grained tannins, subtle sweetness and a whiplash of fruit".

From his early days (nearly 20 years ago) at Sterling he has built an impressive resume... The 1993 Cabernet Sauvignon is a more muscular wine than the 1994, with considerable tannin (sweet rather than astringent),full body, outstanding ripeness,admirable purity,and a long,textured,structured finish".

Plenty of tannin and fruit,just beautiful".
