The 1994 was the last vintage of the Reserve.

“Incredibly different from the ‘regular’ wine, with tremendous vibrancy and freshness to its succulent red and blackcurrant fruit, lovely saturation too.  Fine grained tannins seamlessly bed down the flavours, making for a long, persistent, very precise finish with wonderful gravelly minerality.  Terrific.” Sarah Ahmed - The Wine Detective

“While I tasted a pleasant but uninspiring 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot, the 1994 ‘Reserve’ offering of this wine is spectacular. The inky, saturated black/purple color is concentrated, full-bodied, and reminiscent of a young barrel sample. Offering loads of cassis fruit intermingled with scents of minerals, toasts, and flowers, this prodigious, super-concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot Reserve requires another 4-5 years of cellaring given its high tannin level. The wine should last for two decades.” Robert Parker
