Description

The lot consists of two bottles of Chateau Musar from two excellent vintages - 1994 and 1995.
The unusual grape blend of Chateau Musar is Cabernet Sauvignon,Carignan,Cinsault and Grenache and the wine is noted for its great ability to age.

Both the 1994 and 1995 vintages have recently been receiving very good wine tasting notes on CellarTracker,with high points ratings in the nineties (One taster awards the 1995 Musar with 100 Points!).
The following are recent tasting notes on these two wines:-

"Upon the first swirl and sniff,I was taken back to the first time with this particular bottling Amazing!
Everything I looked for was there - ripe strawberries,musk,game,bandaid...so unique,so funky,so great!
Last time I must have consumed the whole bottle in one hour's time,but tonight I was drinking solo and working at the same time that it took me five hours to finish!
On this fifth hour,I feel obliged to write this - wait a minute,am I drinking perfectly matured Grand Cru Burgundy???"
