Domaine Trimbach has been producing wines for nearly 400 years.The Cuvee Frederic Emile is a powerful,bone-dry Riesling,noted for its purity,steeliness and intense minerality.It also has a great ability to age.
Wine cognoscenti,such as Hugh Johnson and Tom Stevenson have rated Trimbach's flagship wine,the single vineyard Clos Sainte Hune as the greatest of all Alsace Rieslings;both have also suggested that Trimbach's second wine,the Cuvee Frederic Emile may merit second place.
