Tasted by TiggerK on 8/22/2010 & rated 92 points: Great cork, and smelling wonderful upon opening. Classic aged aussie shiraz from a great year, very nice, and kept nicely into the next day as well.

Tasted by TiggerK on 3/21/2010 & rated 88 points: Crumbling cork drama with a hint of oxidisation to start with. Not unpleasant though, and after an hour in decanter started to show it's stuff. Bit of port on the nose, and some of that follows through to the palate (possibly some heat during it's life, maybe just that cork, but probably just a bit too old). A nice drink nevertheless, with raisins and chewy ripe fruit, along with a hint of aniseed, spice and just a hint of vanilla. Loving some age and went well with a steak, tomato, egg and mushroom 'sandwich'.

Tasted by serialmonkey on 2/15/2006 & rated 91 points: Very nice - 10 years has done wonders for this wine. Touch 'porty' at the end of the palette but an excellent flow from start to finish. Lots of flavour and chocolate, good ole battle-axe style of wine. Drinking very well now.
