"The opaque,purple-colored 2000 Shiraz Block 6 Amery Vineyard is no wimpish wine.Harmonious and well-balanced,with outstanding seamlessness,the 2000 offers up smoky creosote aromas intertwined with plum,prune,and blackberry scents.Rich,chewy,soft,round,and voluptuous,with noticeable oak,it is a concentrated,delicious,full-throttle,south Australian Shiraz. Anticipated maturity: now-2015".

I have always loved the Block 6 Shiraz's and the 2000 is no exception.Drinking incredibly young,this wine has many great years ahead of it.Happy to have 2 bottles left.I would love to serve this blind,as no-one would pick this up as an 11-year-old Aussie.For all those that think that Aussie Shiraz doesn't age well,they should try this wine.It would surely change their opinion.A wonderful effort.
