Description

One of the great names in Australian winemaking, Henschke is well know for it's reds more than it's whites, but they are overlooked at your peril. This Riesling has developed over two decades into a superb wine of quality and character. Just like top German and Alsace Rieslings the complexity seems to come with age and it leaps to another level.

I personally think there is a lot more to come from this wine as it still shows freshness and acidity. I last tried a bottle 4 months ago. These bottles came out of a full case I purchased two years ago. The 2002 was an absolute ripper of a vintage and the Rieslings are expected to be very age worthy, due to the quality produced.

Currently lying in a wine merchants premises and offer great presentation.
