At the end of 1989 Madame Claude de Barre Born Claude Fourcaud-Laussac formely owner of Château CHEVAL BLANC brought this small Château that she now lives. Mme de Labarre, whose ancestry has been deeply rooted in the world of wine for generations, does her best to ensure that the wines from this excellent terroir achieve a high level of perfection.

2003 Laplagnotte-Bellevue up-front nose of sweet jammy cassis and currant with some espresso, vanilla. The wine is opulent, medium to full-bodied, yet at the same time, elegant and pure.

30 % new barrels ( from three different coopers).
The remainder in barrels of one and two years old.

Merlot 70%, Cabernet Franc 30%
Soil:Sandy clay with traces of iron pan.
Tillage by plough.
Area : 5.4 ha
