FOR SALE: ONE CASE (12 bottles) 2007 DOMAINE DE VIEUX TELEGRAPHE "LA CRAU" CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE

This wine is currently being stored at Averys, Bristol, where it has lain untouched and sealed since I purchased the wine en-primeur. I can only assume the case and bottles are in perfect condition.

2007 was an excellent CndP vintage, and the Vieux Telegraphe La Crau is no exception, as RP testifies;


96+ points Parker: "The 2007 Vieux Telegraphe may be the greatest wine made at this property since the 2005 and 1998. Dense ruby/purple-tinged with an exquisite nose of salty sea breezes, licorice, ground pepper, jammy black cherries, black currants, figs, and plums, this is a full-bodied, rich, Provencal-styled offering with lots of sweet, ripe tannin. It is surprisingly accessible for a Vieux Telegraphe (this wine normally shuts down several years after bottling), but it should have great longevity (25+ years) given its power, full-bodied mouthfeel, and enormous length and richness. This is a brilliant effort from brothers Frederic and Daniel Brunier."


This wine is currently available for approx £475 ex vat to £630 ex vat & duty - per case. A fair and sensible reserve has been placed upon this case for sale.

The wine will be shipped directly from Avery's to the winning bidder, on receipt of cleared payment.
