Description

COS-This is a medium red throughout with some solid tongue-staining capacity. The nose is wonderful, with scents of a rich, deep forest, rolled wet stones, and spice box -- a very nice, classic BDX nose. In the mouth, this is a fresh and balanced wine, although the finish is a tad tart. Overall, this is a great example of quality Bordeaux that is ready now.
CLOS RENE -Dark purplish colour, nose of dark fruits, & perhaps some lavender. More full bodied than expected, very plummy, jammy, highly extracted, soft tannins though still very evident in the juice, some spice too. A well made wine. Lots of time left here for it too.
GRACIA -Elegant, sophisticated and opulent with good concentration. Lots of ripe chocolate covered blackberries, plums and spice. Gracia, made from 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, produced a whopping 400 cases of wine. Gracia is truly a garage wine. While that term has fallen from favour, the wine is still produced in a garage in the heart of St. Emilion!
