Description

A bit of an oddball this one! I like Gewurztraminer, especially from the Alsace. I have also enjoyed Chilean Gewurz but had never tried any from New Zealand. This wine came up on this site before Christmas and I couldn't resist - the trouble was I had to buy 24 bottles which is a little more than I need - so here is an opportunity to "spread the love"! A further talking point is that this wine comes from the Southernmost vineyard in the world - now there's a talking point over the Asian meal you might enjoy this with.

Spicy and zesty with very delicate but well stated flavours. Musky and deliciously varietal with flavours of lychees and spices. It's actually very nice. Treat yourself to something out of the ordinary. (The bottles themselves are also different - look at the top.)
