Description

"There is a charm and elegance to the fruit here, with both nose and palate open and expressive. The purity in the fruit comes through strongly but with a lovely amplitude. The finish has good structure and drive however, keeping the fruit in check and giving great focus and length to the overall wine".
"This is completely different texturally than the Chambertin twins with concentrated, densely tannic and robust tannins which are in stark contrast to the suavity of the former. This is a big wine with ample youthful austerity and outstanding length. It is serious, packed and should develop well for at least a decade and drink well for another".Burghound.Points 90-92 drink 2014+
