Single cask grain whisky distilled at Cameronbridge in February 1979, matured in cask number 3586 for 30 years before bottling in March of 2009 by Duncan Taylor as part of their Rare Auld collection. A release of 206 cask strength bottles.

Cameron Bridge is a village in the conurbation of Levenmouth in Fife, Scotland. It is near to the village of Windygates and only 2 miles west of the town of Leven. A distillery was established in the 19th century by the Haig family.

Nose: Sweet and luscious. Notes of honey on toast, fresh fruit salad, spices, custard.
Palate: Dark brown sugar, rum-like, tropical fruits, custard, big spices.
Finish: Butterscotch, rich spices.

Rare Auld Collection
Single Malt, single cask and Single Grain whiskies of outstanding quality from each of Scotland’s prime whisky producing regions. Each whisky is bottled naturally, without chill filtration or the addition of artificial colouring.

Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky Ltd, is not a distillery, but has ownership of one of the largest privately-held collections of rare scotch whisky casks. The company has been “laying down” casks from premium Scottish distilleries for decades and has, in recent years, made its branded products available to whisky connoisseurs throughout the World.

Duncan Taylor has its origins in Glasgow where the company was initially a merchant and broker of Scotch Whisky casks within the Industry. Devotion to the principle of providing only the finest casks to be filled at Scotland’s leading distilleries has been a key feature of the company’s history and this tradition of building an outstanding portfolio of only the finest scotch whiskies is being maintained to this day by the current owners.

The company now has an established design, marketing and production operations and has complete control of the entire production process from cask selection and management, through “in-house” product and packaging design to its own “under bond” bottling facilities.
