About the wine:
Cave de Hunawihr is one of the most historic cooperatives in Alsace, founded in 1954 to revitalise traditional winemaking in the region after World War II. The cooperative’s growers farm vineyards around Hunawihr and neighbouring villages, including holdings in several Grand Cru sites. The Rosacker Grand Cru slopes lie north of the village and are celebrated for producing dry Rieslings with notable minerality and acidity due to their limestone and marl soils. Rosacker is also home to Trimbach's Clos St Hune vineyard.

The Riesling Grand Cru Rosacker is the cooperative’s flagship dry white wine, typically showing bright citrus, stone fruit and chalky mineral character, with crisp acidity and aromatic precision.

The 2018 vintage enjoyed warm growing conditions across Alsace, giving generous fruit ripeness while maintaining freshness and structure. This bottle should show lemon, green apple, grapefruit and floral notes, underpinned by a slightly off-dry (8g/L RS), mineral-driven palate that’s characteristic of Rosacker Grand Cru.
