DEUXIEMES CRUS, HAUT BARSAC.

The Chateau Doisy is another of the famous Wines of
Barsac, and in the classification agreed upon in 1855 appears
as a Second Growth.

It is a near neighbour of the celebrated Chateau Climens a First Growth Wine, as doubtless the reader will readily recall and in point of fact it is only separated from the Chateau Climens estate by a road.

Formerly the fine vineyard of Doisy was an undivided property and belonged entirely to one family, which, at the death of the three children concerned, was divided.
