A single bottle of well-preserved mature Haut-Médoc from the warm 2003 vintage. Purchased en primeur via the Wine Society and stored undisturbed in a private deceased estate cellar until this probate release. The bottle, label, cork and fill-level are in excellent condition, reflecting steady, careful long-term storage.

The 2003 Bordeaux vintage was marked by exceptional heat, producing ripe, generous wines with soft tannins and early accessibility. Château Dutruch Grand Poujeaux is known for its gravel-rich terroir in Moulis-en-Médoc, giving wines a classic Médoc character of dark fruit, gentle cedar notes and balanced structure.

Now at full maturity, this 2003 offers ready-to-drink appeal with the rounded, supple profile typical of the vintage. A solid, well-kept example of traditional Left-Bank Bordeaux with excellent provenance.
