Description

Luscious aged Sauternes can be as rich as a Madeira or even a Port. This 63yo bottle wasn't revered by the critics initially, possibly due to the difficult weather conditions experienced in the late seasons pickings. However the diligent and rigourus hand selection paid dividends and now the 1963 can achieve very high prices.

This bottle has some bin-soiling on the label and a slight tear (see pics) but the level and colour are tremendous. Currently lying in a wine merchants premises.
