99/100 – I do not see how any wine can be better, but award 99 in case! Decant and breathe 2 hrs. Magnificent bouquet of black fruits, liquorice, some tobacco and vanilla and that lift of violets. Palate reflects that ripe blackberry blackcurrant blueberry fruit but with significant refined almost creamy ripe tannins and good acidity that carry the complex fruit components to a balanced long finish. The wine is full bodied but with a lot of freshness and refinement, still fruit forward. Lots of time left but sooo enjoyable now.
98/100 – Wow wine, powerfull nose of black cherries and hint of black olives, charzcoal, roasted meat…. Very nice silky tannins, very nice concentration, length of 30 sec!!
96/100 – Complex bouquet with creamy dark berries and luxurious toasted oak. Same on the palate, full bodied, ripe dark berries, very full bodied and juicy with lovely acidity, round tannin and a great length.
95/100 – Deep ruby. Pronounced aromas of blackcurrant, black plum, violet, cedar, vanilla, graphite. Medium+ acidity, medium+ fine tannins. Long finish. This is outstanding and has plenty more wonderful years ahead.
