I have located the following tasting notes:-

Chateau Musar 1985:-
Warm,sweet,ripe nose,which is ripe and full.The palate is smooth and spicey.This is ripe stuff,quite youthful,tasting with lots of sweet ripe fruit.Lovely balance and leathery complexity.Very good/excellent.
(92 Points).Musarathon Vertical.Wine Anorak.

Chateau Musar 1986:-
Smell....Earth,cement,dried red fruits,gingerbread cookies and a kaleidoscope of scents that simply could not be identified as this wine is in a state of transition.
Taste....Cherries,strawberries,cranberries,shitaki mushrooms,and so much more that could not be identified.Much like the nose,this wine had a finish that seemed to last forever and was constantly changing.
Overall....I can't think of many red wines that I have had,that I have enjoyed as much as I did this.These wines are so singularly unique and interesting that nothing could honestly be compared to them.Perhaps the best bottle from this producer that I have had yet.

Classy nose,which is ripe,rich,sweet and herby,with some leathery complexity.The palate is mature,rounded,rich and full bodied.very smooth and refined with great balance.Very good/excellent.
