Description

Wine stored in my 18th C cellar since purchase, offering perfect storage conditions. Level and bottle are perfect, label has anticipated maturity date handwritten top left corner (see photo).

Teyssier is made by the entrepreneurial and innovative JC Malthus OBE (has he ever made a bad wine?). It is to be found in many of the right 1st Class lounges around the world, testament to its superb quality.

Wine Advocate - 90 ‘ medium to deep ruby purple, the 2015 year Teyssier (a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc) gives up lovely black and red cherries with cinnamon stick, fragrant earth and potpourri nuances. Medium bodied and fresh with a Saturn texture, it’s earthy and elegant in the mouth with a perfume to finish.’ Lisa Perotti-Brown
