Description

1 bottle believed to be 1964 as found in the same cellar-bin and uniformity with other Troplong Mondot 1964 bottle, vintage only partially visible on label.
Levels 1 VTS, 1 TS, labels soiled and torn, capsules intact with no sign of any past or recent seepage, bottled by Henekey's.

 

Recently discovered at a waterfront property previously owned by a pioneering British inventor on the South Coast. The collection lay undisturbed in the cellar since the early 1960s. The long-term storage in complete darkness coupled with the maritime climate, consistently low temperatures and damp cellar conditions has contributed to the ageing and preservation of the wine and their remarkable fill levels and colour.
After careful removal, the wines are now stored horizontally in a dark, stable environment. Please email our team for additional images or to book an inspection appointment in Newbury .
