Church Road are the pioneering vineyard and winery in the Hawke's Bay region in northern New Zealand. With vineyards dating back more than a century, the pedigree of Church Road's wines is the envy of all. Having undergone serious rejuvenation in the past 20 years, the Church Road wines continue to lead the way in top quality regional styles. This Reserve Chardonnay is an exceptional testament to this, with the wines delicate balance of succulent and robust fruit characters and the minerality and purity from the expressive acidity. Quite irresistible drinking.

The 1999 vintage was a very good one in New Zealand and certainly favoured the Chardonnay grape.
