Description

A PAIR OF DESSERT WINES

1) Clos St Georges `79. Appellation "Graves Superieures". this is an alternative to Barsac or Sauternes and is usually labelled as such for5 second wines. Producer Noel Labat who I have traced to Chateau Menota - Barsac.
Negociant bottled in Bordeaux by Gallaire at Ludon-Medoc.
Bottle in good order save for a rather `dusty` label. Level top shoulder

2) Also amongst many bottles in an underground cellar near Chatham, Kent was also this Andre Simon Sauternes.
Bottled by Simon in London the colour of this wine (non vintage) could be early to mid 1970`s which would be in accord with the rest of the finds in this cellar.

Lovely colour, and "worth a punt".
