Description

Frapin's Website says:

"A blend taken from the ancient family reserve,
exclusively harvested, distilled and aged in barrels kept
by Pierre Frapin and his descendants.

Colour: Mahogany colour with warm copper highlights.

Bouquet: Very smooth, complex, evolving aromas of old port
mixed with the scent of wooden cigar boxes typical of
old Grande Champagne cognacs, which appears after
a very long ageing. Concentrated candied fruit aromas
(apricot).

Palate: The palate is supple, smooth, rich and luxurious, with
an exceptionally long finish in which all the flavours
combine in a subtle and complex harmony.
It includes the notes of the bouquet, including the
famous “Rancio” (oxidative notes) found in Grande
Champagne cognacs distilled over lees and aged for
several decades."

I have tasted this Cognac a few times and it is truly spectacular.

Comes in decanter bottle with smart leather box.
