Description

A half bottle of Corton "Clos du Roi" from the exceptional 1959 vintage. Clos du Roi is considered the best vineyard in Aloxe-Corton. It is in excellent condition; slight damage to bottom edge of label; small nick to top of capsule (see image); ullage at 2.5cm; colour is deep for its age. Although shipped and bottled by Saccone & Speed, the wine looks as good as anything bottled in France.
