e Rozès Over 40 Years is a wine tasting for excellence. Aged in oak casks in our cellars for over 40 years, this exceptional wine arises from a careful selection of wines produced by the main red varieties of the Douro Region.
Grape Varieties:
Old Vines
Tasting Notes:
Amber, pale with greenish reflections. An intense and penetrating aroma, characterized by notes of coffee, dried figs and hazelnuts. Elegant, revealing a truly persistent late and extremely pleasant mouth.
Store and Serve Advices:
Bottle should be in the upright position, at a constant temperature and away from intense direct light. After opening, consume preferably in 20 to 24 weeks. Port wine is a natural wine, so it may form some natural sediment with time. Pour it carefully, so it does not become cloudy. Should be consumed at a temperature between 16º to 18º C.
Food Pairing:
It is ideal as a digestive. This delicious wine blends harmoniously with dried fruit and chocolate desserts and perfectly accompanies a cigar, given its typical aromas of wood from his long stage.
