A small domaine producing fine wines. This one is from the great year of 2005. £520 at Fine and Rare.

"2005 Nuits St Georges “Les Perrières”: (from vines planted between 1937 and 1942). Here there is better integration of the wood with a soaring nose of red and black berry fruit, stone and a crushed herb component that is not vegetal in character that leads to finer and more detailed middle weight flavors that culminate in a dusty, sweet, minerally and firm finish that is beautifully balanced and deep. There is a chewy quality to the backend yet the class of the tannins is evident. 2014+"
