Description

A 3 bottle pack of Savigny Premier Cru from this family winery (run by 2 sisters) in Savigny-Les-Beaune:

1 x 2010 Savigny 1er Lavières
1 x 2010 Savigny 1er Haut-Jarrons
1 x 2009 Savigny 1er Lavières

This wine, which is difficult to source in the UK, has reached maturity and will make for perfect drinking over the festive period.

Bill Nanson features the domaine in his book "The Finest Wines of Burgundy", and has this to say of the wines:

"They may not be darkly coloured, but they are charming and elegant and still offer more than enough depth to prevent them from becoming facile".

All these wines were purchased direct from the domaine and have since have been stored in my spiral cellar and/or wine cabinet. Bottles are in good condition and enjoy excellent fill levels - see photographs.
