Description

Very rare magnum of Dr Loosen Urziger Wurzgarten Riesling Auslese from 1993 vintage. The wine has a medium golden colour. It is rich and though sweet, not over-sweet or cloying. It still has amazing freshness and the spicy character typical of this vineyard along with typical Mosel minerality. I opened another magnum of the same wine with a much lower level recently for a special birthday and that was in great condition.
It has been stored since purchase in a temperature controlled cellar.
Please note that this magnum was shipped specially direct from Dr Loosen and never had a capsule.
