4/6/2013 - AEF WROTE: 92 Points
Mainly black cherry, spice and a little leather on the nose. Beautifully balanced an elegant. More spice coming through on the palate, really ripe black cherry and a little funkiness. Just starting to show its age on the colour, a tinge of darker brown red. This is peaking and stunning. Love it.

Fine wine tasting with Xavier Rousset (28-50 Fetter Lane, London): Dark, ripe nose with some sultana, really quite expressive nose. Dark cherry, morello ? and raspberry flavours, very rich and concentrated, from a very dry year I believe, ripe plums, some spice, a little leather, medium finish, probably peaking now, this was a lovely well kept bottle.
