Description

This wine is 100% Shiraz, and is named the Short Row due to the shorter vines from which the grapes are sourced. The grapes are grown on a special trellis designed by viticulturist Scott Henry, which the vineyard says “exposes the grape bunches to air and sunlight with the effect of reduction in disease and improvement in quality”. Dense and rich, this wine will cellar for 10 + years.

Jeremy Oliver says:

A smooth, flavoursome modern shiraz for drinking now or for medium-term cellaring. Its perfume of violets, cassis and plums is backed by lightly toasty oak and nuances of cloves, cinnamon, licorice and white pepper. Framed by moderately firm and fine-grained tannins, its deliciously sour-edged expression of spicy shiraz fruit and well-integrated oak finishes long and lively.
