Description

Plenty of info out there on the web.
One for Cru beaujolais fans
I'm drinking six, selling six (in 2-bottle lots, this is the first).
Kinda proves why Beaujolais vineyards were once more expensive than burgundy soil!
It's an unusual long-laster, and I agree with the latest Cellartracker review: floral, "sweet" fruit bouquet, tangy red fruits on the palate, and lots of minerality. Enough acidity and tannin to last another year or two.
(And I didn't write it!)
Reserve is £200, just a guess based on Winesearcher suggesting £100+ for young bottles and double that for this vintage. Who knows?

Pictures:
The first two pics of closed bottles with good wax seal are the ones you are bidding on. The next 4 pics are of the bottle I am drinking tonight; see colour: almost no "age-bricking".

PS - I'll be selling 4 more bottles in two lots soon, but if anyone is interested in sw@psies, then I am a fan of serious beaujolais and am amenable. I have a range of Foillard Cote du Py eg 2016 etc.

buyer pays shipping.....according to preferred method. I've put £15 in the cost box but if your preferred method is cheaper, I'll invoice accordingly, the opposite applies. Amenable also to 'in-person' collection: NE Cotswolds (GL56), or London (Paddington - Oxford Circus axis). Insurance up to you, winesearcher implies these bottles might be worth £200+ each so I'd personally want them insured if I wasn't collecting by hand.
