More than 100 years of history
The Cooperativa de Falset Marçà (DO Montsant) is the result of the merger between the cooperatives of Marçà and Falset, two neighboring towns separated by only 3 kilometers of road, in the southern part of the Priorat region. The production of quality wines and oils is our main activity.

More than a hundred years ago, the cooperatives of Falset and Marçà, merged at the end of the 20th century, started a project that is still very much alive.

Everything has changed a lot in a hundred years and the efforts in innovation have been immense. The Cooperative, to this day, continues to innovate, which does not mean that it is not respectful of tradition.

In fact, despite the passing of the years, the basic objective of the Cooperative has been the same for a century: "to strive for the development and improvement of agricultural products", according to the first statutes.

It's that simple: doing things right remains our main reason for being.
Ours is much more than a century-old cooperative, founded in 1912 and with 720 members. Partners who are farmers and, at the same time, are the owners of the cooperative or, if they prefer, are its "shareholders".

Farmers are the owners and winemakers. They take care of the fruit of the vine from the moment it is born until it reaches the Celler to be turned into wine.

That is why we are proud to say that we are farmers and entrepreneurs at the same time and that, consequently, we take responsibility for everything that happens from planting a vineyard to putting the wine on the table.

Therefore, when we are asked whether we are entrepreneurs or farmers, our answer leaves no room for doubt: we are much more than farmers and something more than simple entrepreneurs.
