An amazing wine produced in tiny quantities & destined for long term cellaring. Sourced from the low yielding one-hectare "ancestor vines" planted in 1875, which are hand pruned & hand harvested.
Rich & voluminous, Kalleske Johann Georg Shiraz is a classic Barossa style that exhibits great intensity, an inky purple colour, & notes of creosote, camphor, blackberries, cassis & subtle vanillin notes. Unbelievably unctuous & full bodied, with stunning concentration, thrilling purity & amazing length as well as richness. (Robert Parker 96 points)
