NB. I'M SELLING TWO NOT SIX BOTTLES.
(Pic shows the six from which two will be sent to the highest bidder by Eton Park. I'm in no rush to sell the other four, unless you really want them in which case message me and I'll consider listing them).

KRRRRRRRRUG 2002....I'll spare you the superlatives from the mainstream, and the arch nuanced stuff from the critics earning a living.


PROVENANCE: EXCELLENT
Bought from Roberson wine merchants, Seagrave Road, London SW6 in Q1 2020, then sent directly from their warehouse to Eton Park, where they remain. No wedding leftovers, unheated garages, and no Hong Kong non-airconditioned docksides.

Reserve price.
Well, I'm not going to risk them being snapped up for 32quid on a damp day while everyone's on holiday am I?

Pretty hard to know what's reasonable. The issue with all the Winesearcher marks is provenance - where the hell has such iconic well-traded juice been when offered by the brokers? Singapore docks? London? There and back?!! (Mine: Krug - Roberson - Eton Park).

Berry's broking business ought to be reliable-ish, no? What with their reputation at risk? But then these days I can buy a peerage for £3m, and I'm sure Berry's would accept any wine from me if I sign off LORD Dan. Anyway FWIW theirs is offered at £380/bt DP plus delivery.....but you have to buy six, so you'd be in for two and a half grand. Why not sample two for fewer chips?
