A rare pair of 1986 Grande Cuvée from the celebrated Fourchaume Premier Cru vineyard, produced by La Chablisienne. As one of the most respected producers in the region, La Chablisienne’s 'Grande Cuvée' is specifically crafted for long-term cellaring, showcasing the intensity and acidity that allows Chablis to age for decades.

Tasting Note / Context:
The 1986 vintage in Chablis produced wines with classic structure. At nearly 40 years old, these bottles have moved into a secondary/tertiary profile, likely showing notes of dried honey, toasted nuts, and preserved citrus, supported by the vineyard's hallmark minerality.

• Provenance: Originally acquired from a private collection in St George’s Hill, Weybridge. Since June 2023, the bottles have been meticulously stored in a cool, dark, and undisturbed environment to maintain their condition. Prior to this, they were held in a high-end private cellar.
