Description

A very rare and sought after white Rioja, probably the best of its type.

This is a pretty rare, geeky little number.

This wine has an unbelievable line-up of grapes -

Viognier, Chardonnay, Roussanne, Marsanne, Sauvignon Blanc, Garnacha Blanca, and Moscatel del Pais

This gives it an incredible array of smells and tastes, from floral heather and blossom to pear, apple, lychee and guava!

Jancis Robinson gives it 17/20:

Fermented in a combination of cask, cement tanks, foudres and glass demijohns. Refined use of creamy lees and oak – allowing pure gentle creamy citrus to shine through. The fruit is complex too – lemon and quince and stone fruit. So elegant and subtle. Extremely persistent. There’s a lovely dry tension within that gentle
