This auction is for a single MAGNUM of 1997 Musigny VV, Grand Cru, Comte Georges de Vogüé.

Burghound tasting note:

An ultra ripe, almost jammy fruit nose somehow manages to remain elegant and relatively detailed while introducing sappy flavors that coat the mouth and buffer the moderately firm tannins on the admirably long finish. This is relatively forward, indeed even precocious for a 10 year old example of this wine and while it's already drinking well, it should offer another 2 to perhaps 5 years of improvement. A solid if not truly special effort for the vintage.
