The lot consists of three bottles of Coonawarra wine:-

One bottle of 1991 Wynns John Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon (Limited Release).
One bottle of 1990 Ralph's Shiraz (Penfold Winery's tribute to the late Ralph Steadman).
One bottle of 1996 Wynns Michael Shiraz (Limited Release).

The John Riddoch and the Michael Shiraz are the top Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz Cuvees produced at the renowned Wynns Coonawarra winery.



"Ralph Steadman is mature and full-bodied,with a cutting edge,and does not travel well,unlike Ralph's Shiraz,an exemplary Coonawarra Shiraz,matured in new American oak for 18 months and named in Ralph's honour.It is a richly flavoured wine,with sweet,mulberry fruit nuances,velvety tannins and a spicy aftertaste".
