About the wine:
‘Oncle Vincent’ is Leflaive’s special cuvée sourced exclusively from old-vine parcels around Puligny-Montrachet, giving it a depth far beyond typical Bourgogne Blanc.
The 2020 vintage in the Côte de Beaune was warm, concentrated and very high quality, producing Chardonnay with expressive fruit and excellent balance. Expect ripe citrus, white peach, hazelnut and brioche, with a fine mineral line and gentle creaminess from sensitive oak handling.
At this stage the wine is drinking beautifully now, offering freshness with enough texture and complexity to elevate it above regional level.
