I have for sale 3 bottles of Quinta do Noval vintage port, from the excellent 2003 vintage which are still in their original wooden case. These are the last bottles of this I will be selling.

The Quinta do Noval 2003 is a truly exceptional vintage port. This port has grabbed much attention from the critics, including a huge 19/20 from Jancis Robinson, who confesses to very rarely giving scores over 18. That she has gone a full point over her standard "top score" is testament to the unsurpassed brilliance of this wine. Coloured dark-purple and bearing an immense purity of fruit, this port really comes at you from the off.

The cheapest this can be bought in the UK is £67.

This was an amazing port that was not supposed to be opened for another 5 yrs but that's what happens when someone else runs through your cellar after they have been drinking great wine. They pick out the good stuff without knowing what they are getting. With that said this was delicious. It deserves the points and it will age for eternity. I could see myself drinking this in 30 yrs. So nice and complex for a vintage port that it blew the doors off the place.

Tannins very supple
long, meaty finish
Gorgeous, so open and delcious
Still very primary so probably a crime to drink so young but what the hell

Spicy, lavender, floral, nice finish, good length, viscous, medium tannins, geranium, licorice. The only vintage port of the flight of 2003's which had Portuguese cultivar aroma characters.
