Description

Please note: 1 x 2007 and 1 x 2008 (both excellent but I thought it would be interesting to offer two different years).

Provenance: bought by me in June 2016 from Uncorked wine merchants in the City of London, not broking stock, but direct from the producer. Stored at Eton Park until early 2025 whereupon took delivery to my Liebherr at home and started the usual strategy of drinking some and selling some (since I had 12bts of each vintage and life is less social these days....hmm....)

So why not have this with your next pizza, pasta, bolognese, stew etc. etc.

My palate is not good enough to detect great differences between the vintages (see if you can decipher the stuff on Cellartracker).

If you haven't already tried Il Maestro's wines (BTW I understand these are the last vintages he himself made before retirement / handover), or Dal Forno's, then try some of the best Valpol (baby Amarone tbh).
