One 37.5cl bottle of 2015 Reichsrat von Buhl Forster Ungeheuer Riesling Auslese.

About the wine:
Reichsrat von Buhl is a historic Deidesheim estate (founded 1849) and a flagship of the Pfalz, farming certified organically and focusing on precise, terroir-driven Riesling. Ungeheuer is a VDP.Grosse Lage (grand cru) in Forst, famed for its sandstone and basalt-influenced soils that yield powerful, spicy, mineral wines.

2015 is an outstanding German vintage combining ripe, lightly botrytis affected fruit with vibrant acidity. Expect aromas of apricot and mango, candied citrus peel, blossom honey and ginger spice, with smoky stone and salty minerality on a long, balanced finish.

The 1989 vintage of the Beerenauslese (BA) wine from this estate and vineyard was served at the late Queen Mother's 100th Birthday celebrations.

Bottle/condition:
37.5cl (half bottle). Clean label and capsule; excellent level. Stored in professional warehousing, then a EuroCave. Photos show the actual bottle.
