Bodegas Breton - Lorinon, Crianza 1994 - Rioja DOC - Spain

It was 1983 when the Bretón family and a group of Rioja entrepreneurs and winegrowers founded Bodegas Bretón y Cía in Rioja Alta. They claim that the first harvest was made in 1985 and the wine was marketed in 1988 and that from the very beginning, they were committed not to quantity but to high-quality wines, based on the exquisite cultivation of the vineyards whose wines are named after them. Bodegas Breton is not a traditional winery, avoiding the classic Rioja wines with lots of wood and preferring the right, new wood and also combining American and French to extract the best from each.
Lorinon Crianza is a wine made by carefully selecting grapes such as Tempranillo, Mazuelo, Garnacha, and Graciano from Rioja Alta. The fermentation process takes place in stainless steel vessels under controlled temperatures. The wine is then transferred to American oak barrels to complete the maturation process.
