Description

Risk takers read on! Sanderman vintage 1962 Port. Inherited from my uncle.
The chances are it has not been stored on its side. I do know it has been kept in a dark sideboard away from heat. The port itself is not below the shoulder of the bottle but it does not fill the stem. The liquid is clear and clouding is not apparent. There is sediment at the bottom. The wax seal and label are intact. The wax looks to form a good seal but gap could have opened behind the paper seal. The drips look rather odd and could be from another bottle, not at all sure. The wax and the seal have not been tampered with.
Granted more than a bit of a gamble, but not sure what the odds would be. Not being a regular drinker of wine it would be totally wasted on me if it turns out to be a fine port.
Could be memorable talking point with friend at grand open maybe?

Re Delivery: I’m sure we can some arrangement re delivery. I’m only concerned about sediment been disturbed and the time it will take to settle.
