No review from RP for the 2017, but 6 vintages from 2015-2022 average 91pts.
Drinking windows from 5-12yrs, so this is ready to go.
Example review of the 2016:
The 2016 Saumur Champigny La Marginale is from clay over limestone soils and opens with intense, dark and very elegant (cherry) fruit on the nose. Full-bodied, intense and concentrated yet pure and fresh on the palate, with dense yet fine tannins and some chocolate flavors, the 2016 reveals blackcurrant notes on the aftertaste.

Over the last three years, I have tasted an impressive series of beautiful Cabernet Francs and Chenin Blancs of this exceptional producer of Saumur and Saumur Champigny. Whereas the summers get warmer and drier and the ability to produce big and bold red wines isn't impossible anymore even in the Loire Valley, at Thierry Germain's Domaine des Roches Neuves the wines have become even finer and fresher in recent years. The potential alcohol level of his wines rarely exceeds 12.5% when the grapes are picked, whereas it had been at 14.5% before.

IMO, for what its worth, these are really interesting, intensely flavoured but lightish wines with good acidity. I have several vintages of this particular wine, just too many bottles for my own consumption.
